I am totally amazed how many local gearheads watch that show(?) Didn't see it last night 'cause I was watching Star Trek DS9 at the time. It was on the Speed channel again this AM but Dora the Explorer and Bear in the Big Blue House was on at the same time... Anyone see where I'm going with this?
LOL.. I think I know all the words to the "get ready" song..
What can I say, Brian digs the big bear.

Loser of the race, does in fact, lose their car. Check it out tonight... airing on Speed is PINKS, the third episode of season three. Playing host to the race is SURPRISE, ARIZONA. Facing off is Robert Shields (Texas): in a 1969 Chevy Chevelle VS. Donnie Denton (Texas): in a 1986 Chevy Camaro… Personally, I am a Chevelle fan. Check it out tonight, 9 pm Eastern Time on Speed Network.
Their web-site is cool also. You can find a list of alternate showings, they have games, and cool info about the show...

I've seen the show a few times. I guess its okay compared to some of the other mindless reality shows that are put on TV this season. If I'm flipping by and its on I'll usually watch a bit of it. The thing that really bugs me about the whole premise of the show though is how one team will get "lengths" for the 2nd and 3rd races. To me that's just not right

I saw one episode a few months ago with an import racing a 3rd generation Camaro and the import was trying to get 20 lengths for the 2nd race

If that's the way they work the show then I guess I could put on my sneakers and get on the show racing someone on foot if they gave me 90 lengths
I did catch the end of it the other night though and saw a guy lose a pretty sharp looking 69 Chevelle
