Sorry for not keeping everyone updated. Been a long winter.
Steve & I finally got time to work on the car today. Steve spent the day working on an OOPS on the trailer (don't ask) and I spent the day checking over everything, check this, check that, you get the picture. I re-leaked the barrel valve, the reading was off by 10%, hmm.. thats not right, check everything again, still the same reading. OK so now I'm thinking what did you forget how to do now!!!!
So I picked up the gauge & the reading changed

WTF?
Long story short the quick coupler had a leak in it throwing the gauge off 10%
Well we didn't get to start the car today,

but we did find other issues.
Remember I know clutches & Lenco's, not converters & Lenco's.
Steve & I got to talking about how he was going to do the burnout, bring the car to a stop, engage & hold the trans brake, shift the trans into reverse while pushing on the brake handle & using the left hand to multi task. Hmm.. slight problem here
So far the only solutions to this problem we have come up with, is to install a foot activated trans brake for shifting between forward & reverse, reverse & forward or installing a foot brake.
Any other ideas????
