Thats funny you asked, I just looked them up last week and I have since forgotten. They are junk, small valves, 76cc chambers.
If you're really interested, I can get the numbers for you this weekend when I go home.

Hey WC1.
Yeah, it is a fun project.
The car is in good shape. Driver condition, not show quality. I dan't really want anything show quality as I would be askeert to take it to the track and pound on it.

Yup, thats my Harley.
It's a 96 Fatboy.. (I'm a '72 Fatboy! )

S&S carb, Vance and Hines exhaust, Screamin Eagle ignition, Andrews ev-27 cam, crane adjustable pushrods.

Nothing crazy, a nice reliable bike. I have had it for a long time. It's set up for a road trip the way you see it, touring saddle, bags, windshield.

I normally have it stripped down for running it around town.

I have a Harley t-shirt from down your way... You know where the booming metropolis of Conroe is?

OK, getting back on track here.
I should have a little something to report this weekend. I am going to work on the car tonight and tomorrow if the weather is decent.
I really want to get old leaky running again. Just to goof around a little.

When I tore it down, I found that the #1 Ex. push rod was bent.

The cam was pretty worn too.
I just tossed an edelbrock performer plus cam in it. New timing set, blancer, lifters, pushrods and left everything else alone.

I want to save this motor for a project down the road. With this set up along with the holley street dominator dual plane intake and small 650 vacuum carb, it should be good for either an old suburban or the 5-window pick up my wife wants.

Good Luck! Hope it all goes well for you.

I had a 1972 Nova SS. I put a 350 out of a Vette in it, which back then meant more compression, better heads. I put the old Dontov 30-30 cam in it. It ran pretty well. However, when I would park somewhere and play the radio too long it was hard to start. I would get out and get it rolling then throw it into gear, drop the clutch to fire it up.

EVERY time I had to do that I had to replace a couple of push-rods!

And NO, I am not telling where I was parking or what I was doing parked for so long!

Eating cake?

I don't know why the push rod was bent. The cam looked pretty whipped too.

Anyway, like i said, it's a good old motor and I want to save it. Once it's out of the car, a new pan gasket, pressure wash and paint job and she'll go on the stand and wait for her next mission.

Beleive it or not, I still have not gone to get the new short block. I have not had time. I paid the guy so he's happy. Hopefully next week.

Texan Harley-Davidson on N. Frazier in Conroe? Cool! Were you there?
Anyway, this is a car thread, not a bike thread...just saw the bike and was interested for a minute...very nice motorscooter, Doug...Cheers, WC1
