Thanksgiving is almost here... Since it's officially Thanksgiving Week, I figure I'd dedicate some blogging to expressing different things in my life that I'm genuinely thankful for... I guess it's a practice that we should all do more often, and not just at Thanksgiving... I discuss the hardcore drag racers and fans who make me a mighty thankful gal... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Today's blog... THANKSGIVING WEEK IS HERE... TURNING ON THE THANKFULNESS...

From the Drag Racing Underground "Doc's Glamour Photography" photo gallery. Yeah, I don't just talk and write about cars, I take high resolution "glamour" photographs of them too! My photo shoots are only $475 and I have three more available openings for the Spring/Summer of 2012. Local shoots only please...

I am thankful we have you here and that "Vette" is almost as pretty as you!
I enjoy your "News 'N Views". (My ole title when I wrote for Drag News in the mid-60's.)

Thanks Jack, I appreciate your kind words, especially coming from a respected veteran drag journalist like yourself... It's always a pleasure seeing you in person at E-Town, you're a true gentleman and a drag racing scholar... I'm thankful for your friendship, as I'm thankful for lots of things in my life, and that's what I discuss in today's blog... Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE reading this... The DragList family is made up of the most GENUINE of drag racing folks, people who are in this drag racing thing for the RIGHT reasons, DragList certainly remains "the tops" in my book... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Today's blog... THE THANKFULNESS CONTINUES... MORE STUFF THAT I'M THANKFUL FOR...

Thanks, BO, thanks for sayin' that... I try to give folks a healthy spoonful of honesty and candor, with a little tongue in cheek humor to make the proverbial medicine go down, the sort of editorial content that unfortunately seems to be lacking on much of the drag racing web these days... Folks deserve better, and that's what I try from the heart to deliver to my readers with my daily blog... And I genuinely appreciate your positive words... Today I talk about Drag Racing Underground's "NOSTALGIA RAW", the dvd that documents the infancy of the northeastern nostalgia drag racing movement, from a time long before saying that you like "nostalgia" racing was considered fashionable, er, or in some cases, even "acceptable", or even "tolerated", yikes!!-- Drag Racing Underground knew better back then, and believed in it, and supported the nostalgia movement because we had real respect and admiration for the folks (pioneers) who were working hard to get it all started... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Before nostalgia racing was considered fashionable, er, or even "acceptable" for that matter...

Today's blog tackles the subject of Del Worsham "retiring" from the cockpit to pursue crew chief duties at Kalitta Motorsports... Del Worsham will be handling the enormous responsibility of attempting to tune Funny Car "newbie" Alexis DeJoria to a successful 2012 season... I discuss how Del may be in for more headaches as a crew chief, than he experienced as a driver... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

The latest subject of track side conversation and controversy is "DESTINATION FORCE"... It's a modern day "graphic novel" that tells the story of NHRA superhero John "Brute" Force... It's the brainchild of John's daughter, Ashley Force (an accomplished Nitro pilot and celeb in her own right)... Complete with a colorful cover illustration of John Force that looks a lot more like my pal Ron Iannotti than Mr. Force... The book blatantly appears to be an attempt at penetrating a youthful "pop culture" oriented demographic that so many, ahem, "marketing specialists" in our sport so negligently ignore... I give my take on the book with today's blog... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Today's blog..."DESTINATION FORCE", A GRAPHIC NOVEL MASTERPIECE OR MACHIAVELLIAN MISHAP??...

Ashley Force dares to court a youthful demographic that drag racing's "marketing specialists" so often negligently ignore with "DESTINATION FORCE"...
