who knows....after we got the ball rolling this year.....perhaps "one" day we'll have our litting outting "on the Map" (so to speak)..........Would be just too cool to have like 8 car fields in all sorts of classes.....with trophy's to the winners and runner's up.......That(<) combined with loads of comeraderie just couldn't be topped by ANYTHING!!!

hmmm.....possible classes......an interesting question.....
Center Steer (Altereds, Dragsters, Floppers)
Door Cars (Full Chassis, Big Tires, Nitrous, etc)
Bracket Style cars..(i.e. Gator Gumbo / Thunderhorse)
Daily Drivers (Rental cars included  )

Awww, Hell's Bells.....4 car fields would be fun!!!!!............
(in the even of major performance differences in the Center Steer and Door Car classes......"Lengths" could be "negotiated".......

Perhaps have the winners of Center Steer and Door Car match up for a single run (with lengths as necessary) for Bragging rights????
Long Live Draglist!

I really enjoyed helping to set up and manage the classes for Classic Thunder a few years ago. I just could not keep up the pace with my day job and my kids needing me on the weekends (instead of having flown to some far location). I just may pick this back up in ten years or so... but who knows... it is a LOT of work to put on an event and the financial risks are huge to pay guys even tow money... But I definitely enjoyed setting up the classes... bp

Bill.....

I was refering to Members of this board (and Mike's) who attend the DLN's and bring their rides.......This year, was a small, intimate ordeal (as far as vehicular participation is concerned) but as an Inaugural happening....it was PERFECT!!!............"I" certainly hope that more and more members can (and will) attend the next event (2007) and beyond......and will bring their toys to the playground....I mean....we can't let Rapid, Lippy and Mike have ALL the fun, can we???
