...Absolutely the most violent launch I have experienced to date. I ended up with an 8.142 at 166.79 on the first pass using one stage! Last year's best was 8.13 on two stages.

I finally had to admit defeat on the wiring in the car. I bit the bullet and ordered a complete custom made kit from www.racewiring.com (AKA Spaghetti Menders). I'm sure you people from Illinois have heard of this company, if not, check them out when you get a chance. His kits are outstanding!

I got tired of chasing little wiring problems that were keeping us from being able to make more than one good pass in a row. I've seen a number of cars that were done with his stuff, and it is the most thought-out set-up I have ever seen.

It will be nice to finally put any wiring misery in the past where it belongs. Just think of the weight savings alone.

Good call, Mike. It'll clear up the whole deal and save trouble, weight and pay off in the long run. Cheers, WC1

A racecar is never done, but that was the part I hated most, the darn down time, lost chasing a short or whatever electrical bugs were present.

Get it done and have more time to test and tune and get to racing. 8) I'm jealous of all the great stuff, that you guys can get nowadays. Back in the day, we had to make it all. Not much was around all setup and ready to install.

Jean, now that isn't true. Back in your day you guys has plenty of "DIRT" and you didn't have to make that yourself!!
