Yes, Bill... And I believe it's a smart way of telling the John Force story in a fashion that's probably more "digestible" for most of the masses-- Folks no longer seem to have the attention spans necessary to sit down with a "serious read", so maybe this more "pop culture" format of a book will prove to be successful... I admire Ashley for coming up with the concept and seeing it through fruition... Too many people take the "true grit" history of John Force for granted, just 'cause he has zillions of dollars these days, the truth is that he paid more painful dues to get where he is than some folks could ever realize (or want to realize)... Anyways--- Today's blog is once again sort of Del Worsham related... I pose the question of whether or not our sport's "racer's racer" species are on the brink of extinction... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
Today's blog... DRAG RACING'S SO-CALLED "RACER'S RACER" ON THE ENDANGERED SPECIES LIST??...

Are "racer's racer" personalities like "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, racers who can "do it all", sadly going the way of extinction like the Dodo bird?...
