Altered lingo:

A bit Loose,,smoking the tires from the 330 cones thru the traps!

Kinda out of shape,,,you could read both sides of the car from the 660 cones on!

I wasn't sure it was gonna make it down thru there,,,,Sliding sidways thru the finish line beams!

Had to abort the run,,,,consisted of at least {2} 360's and must touch one or both guard rails!

got the rearend torn down for kathy's chevelle, everything looks good but i'm going to put all new bearings, races, and seals throughout. it wouldn't hurt a fat boy like me to do a little walkin, but i don't want her to have to  Image

i ordered the sheetmetal today for the interior of the ojc, i get to pick it up tomorrow at lunch, i also discovered a fel-pro 2909 rear main seal for a line bored 400 small block  duoh!! i guess i'll have to pull the motor again, the tranny went out in my 77 gmc so i need to get it out and took to eddie so i'll have something to drive again, i'll probably do that tomorrow after work, the hardest part will be that huge a$$ np205 transfer, those things ain't light, i'll post pics of the new floors when we get em in.

i got the draglist.com decals on the windows of the ojc today, for a picture see the draglist.com decals ready thread page 4, i also went and picked up some of the sheet metal for the ojc, i got the passenger side somewhat in place and rivited, lots of spot welding to do , we also installed the magic performance enhancing 1/2" carb spacer ( nitrous plate ) today, i didn't bring any jets with me today so we just black taped up the ends. i put a new transbrake button in yeasterday and forgot to mention it as my old one had gone bad so i'm back to doing tbrake burnouts in the shop again  sorry billy, i just can't help myself.

that's the "plan".....remains to be seen how far I'm off just "on the motor"....I feel like I'm gonna HAVE to spray it...just hope it won't require a Big hit.......with that said......IF (great big fat fuzzy IF!!) I ever win one of these lotto's.....you can just bet the farm that I'll shoe horn enough cubic inches in that go-cart chassis of mine to run the number like its a cake walk...(sawwy Rapid  )......until that time.....this ol' lowbuck boat anchor is gonna have to get the job done (or get a dose of giggle juice right in the kisser!!)

pre-stage light on....purge button....psssttt....pssssssssttttt...horn button pushed....aaaAAAAAAOOOOGGAAA!!!!..........ppssssttt.......pppssssttt....LOL!!!
