Here's a nice surprise for you folks. The tickets are purchased and the time off is taken and...

Danny and Gena White will be at the DLNs this year! They will be flying into Baltimore on Thursday afternoon and flying back out on Sunday afternoon...

So looking forward to having them among our crew again. I we all had a great time together last time and this will be great.

BUT... it's Gena's first time on a jet plane (she's been in a Cessna before). So this will be an extra big deal. bp

Sharon is taking a half day off on Tues. and we will be leaving about noon. We are planning on staying somewhere along the way but close to DC and touring the Natural History Museum on Wednesday. Bp... er bp.... er KING BP..er oh well the Pratt guy we will be calling you Tuesday evening for some info and we will proceed from there. Here is Sharon's list. If you see her she will look like the proverbial Japanese tourist with camera in hand, capturing everything on film and burning up batteries at a rapid pace. We plan on staying for the Sunday breakfast if it is early then heading home shortly thereafter.

MUST SEE LIST:
Changing of the guard at the Unknown Soldier and Kennedy's burial site at Arlington Cemetery.
Natural History Museum
Tour of Capitol.
LIKE TO SEE LIST:
Washington Monument
Lincoln Memorial
White House
Vietnam, Korea, and WWII at Arlington.
NIGHT TOUR LIST:
Lincoln Memorial and others that you think are impressive.

As per bp's recommended schedule:
Wednesday -- if you're here, Bill will be off and we can work out some sightseeing.

Thursday -- more sightseeing, and a party at the Pratt's house that afternoon/night.

Friday -- more sightseeing, and our traditional dinner out. (Lots of choices around here, including dinner cruises or lots of good restaurants)

Saturday -- at the track with crabs/seafood on the water in Southern Maryland (near the track and on the way back to the hotel).

Sunday -- there is more event at the track, so we can meet for breakfast and go there or say farewell.

Anybody not leaving until Monday? We will work out more fun for Sunday night!

All sounds great. The only twist is that Denise is asking if folks want to have dinner out on Thursday night and then have something at our place on Friday. She wonders if folks will be tired from sightseeing on Friday and will want to stay in here and relax instead of going back out? bp
