 I had to spend a few minuites back tracking this thread after reading all the posts about Cordova and Mikes deal etc. congrats to the Nitro Madness team over the last 2 weeks and Lippy, Leon, Larry and the twister effort !!!! I really have nothing good to report as we lost early in both classes  .. we had a new weather station deal coutesy of John the Plumber and the unit worked great !! We were able to make great dial-in predictions but as things sometimes go the driver was not in the zone.. stuff happens, we drew heavy hitters in the early rounds and got spanked on the tree and Don the Driver is at this moment kicking hisself in the forehead over the whole deal... we went into the event #2 in points and loaded and watched fireworks from the tower, had some beers as we cheered our good friend Bill Bradley (racer 403 ) make it to 1/4 finals, passing us up in the points  The cool news is that Don's oldest son Dane was on leave from Iraq and got to hang out with us in the pits all day.. I guess i should say that we were the lucky ones to hang out with HIM all day !!! sure was good to see him and a lot of folks showed up to have a chance to hang out with Dane !! which in reality left Don no chance to focus on driving the car as he was spending quality time with his son.We will get back after it saturday for the next points deal proudly displaying the Draglist.com stickers and hopefully go deep into the program with repectable results

:D well the JTP van is loaded up other than gas and ice.. Just talked to Don the Driver and we discussed time of arival tomorrow and more importantly FOCUS !! Draglist.com stickers on the car and one old style on the good side of the van  I will be hunting down Bret early for that perfect launch shot with Gary's handywork in the center of the pic and maybe talking him into walking all the way to our pitspot to grab a pic of the car and van and team :?: hopeful for a late saturday night-early Sunday report

:D thanks Bill ! hello FH.... Bret is there most every week unless he is doing one of his many gigs.... he was also the track anouncer years ago when i had my car, also puts on a bracket racing clinic once a month at Gateway and also competes a lot in street et with whatever car he is renting or borrows for the day and has an impressive win/loss record over the years at many tracks, he also wrote the Mr.Dirt series of articles that were a feature in the Super Stock and Drag Illustrated magazine back in 1994-95 i think... i have the whole series in a box somewhere. He is an interesting guy for sure !
