Just finished this up this morning for RH and his friend Gary Gore; Gary's having the Old Dominion Dragstrip Reunion on August 23rd. Some folks may recognize some familiar objects and cars in this...hope that's OK. This was fun! Cheers, WC1

Thanks, I think this will be the banner for their show in October. The Nitro Madness 23 T was reflected over to match up with the Fiat in perspective...I went in and redid the front of "Wendy" (the Olds engine it ran pre-hemi) so the magneto/plug wires, fuel pump assembly and injector hat linkage were in their proper places. I also had to flip over the lettering on the body and tires...That's Solid Rock's Romeo Palamides-chassis'd Bantam altered wearing a Fiat suit with nosepiece and wings added, so what it is in theory is Rapid and Rocky dukin' it out in a match race. A lot of this stuff was already drawn and in various file folders except for the state of Virginia, the track and the base of the 'tree, which didn't take long to draw. These are fun and folks like 'em...it was an honor to do this for Old Dominion. Cheers, WC1

A couple of weeks ago, the Pee Wee Bowen Band posed for a picture at a private fundraiser held at the Cruise Terminal in Galveston. This was the night BP took Debby and Nick to the Jazz Club, in fact...The photographer kind of made a big deal out of it like it was really going to be special. Last weekend we got the prints. As you can see, he didn't get all of us in the picture, Hank's left side and Sylvester's right side are cropped out of the picture, and almost all of our feet, including Pee Wee's trademark Spec shoes are not within the frame of the picture...and I was the only one who saw this! Everybody else was going, this is such a nice picture of us! Put it on the website! I went, are you kidding? It's awful! Anyway, I scanned it, took it into Photoshop and made a new picture out of it. Sylvester's right arm is my left arm, flipped over. Hank's left arm is Clem's right arm, flipped over. We all have feet now. I added Pee Wee's Spec shoes from another picture and I Photoshopped them to fit on his leg. I also added a background. The curtains were red in the original background picture but I hued 'em to purple. I haven't seen how this looks online yet so this is more or less a test...Enjoy! WC1
