The Draglist Super Crew shares friendship and racing every year in a different town and at a different race track! Here are stories and plans for Draglist Nats past, present, and future!
Wow, I finally got out of the snow drift and read all 10 pages of this thread. I have been way behind on this board.
July 19 will be a big day for old Al if all comes together.
I have been helping the an old friend and co worker who is working on the history of the Des Moines Dragway as I was there many times.
And along with the draglist gathering and all the other goings on it should be a blast.
Gerald, the manager and part owner of Eddyville came and sat with me when my grandson's basketball team played the school Gerald's son goes to. How cool was that?
I can't wait till all this white stuff is gone and drag racing season has started here in Iowa.

The guy has been working on this since 2001. He has photos, movies converted to digital andnewspaper clippings and plans to do a DVD, but I don't know when. He works 11 PM to 7AM and that makes it hard for him to get things done. The top local TV station did a piece with him in October and he has been swamped ever since.
He did tee shirts and hope to sell 3 dozen. He sold 150.
So, when it's done it should be neat.
