I know, Lippy.......its just that there are such a few things that "need" doin' and so many things that I "have" to do when I am over at Tim's (where Peggy is residing these days).....I try to cram it all in when I can......it DOES make for some awful short naps though.....
Take this weekend for instance.....
got to fab some more bars for that Malibu....also got to fab up some bars etc., for that Mustang that that guy stuffed in the guard-rail a couple of weeks ago........I'll be lucky to get to peek in the door of Patch this weekend...but its ok.....I'm at a stopping point on Peggy.....just need Tim to finish portin' my heads and start assembling my motor........."Hoping" for an August debut of my "new" car........wait a minute.....the only thing "old" about the car is the body (and of course the driver  ).....EVERYTHING Under the body is new......so....does it "qualify" as "New", or "Old"???.....At This point, I don't even care....I just want it FINISHED!!!!!

Billy, I can relate to what your saying, as a lot of prople who build they're own stuff can. You work, work, work, on all the little details that make a car and seems like you never gain on it, till one day you realize that,..hey, I'm close here! Then it's a thrash to get it going. I worked all last fall and winter on the dragster, and a lot of times I thought,..I'll never make it by summer, but, lo and behold, we did. I was gettin used to midnight in the shop, and a lot of times I was so tired, I'd just sit in the chair, or in the cockpit and just dream! 8) 8) Then finally the day came , when Leon called and said,..WE GONNA CACKLE THE CAR TOMORROW? That's when it hit me,........WE'RE READY!!!!! I can't describe the feeling when it lit off, like hearin a baby cry for the first time!! Sorry, got carried away!! You know,  :D 8)

Billy, last night I showed some pictures of the Iron Pegasus to my nephew, Duane, who drives a late-model Mustang. He was captivated by every single picture. He was totally galvanized by the reverse emblem on the grille...that feature alone caught his attention immediately...but I took him through my "Billy Mac" folder and showed him the pictures of the car in the shop and gave him "The Saga of the Iron Pegasus" to read and he flipped...you have a fan, Billy, his name is Duane Reece. Cheers, WC1
PS: I also showed him this from a while back and he liked to died laughing...the Chevy-Powered (as per Rock's directive) Iron Pegasus Panel Wagon! Will miracles never cease?

Hiya, Boys and Grlls....just checking in for a minor update.....
Been saying for several years that I have been trying to get my ducks in a row...but some sunny-beech kept shootin' my ducks.....well...this is to inform yoose guys that the ducks are being rounded up (complete with bullet proof vests) and are currently being schooled in the fine art of forming a coherent line...Hopefully more details will be available soon. 8)
