Dad has just two more radiations and one chemo treatment left to do.

He says by August 10th. he will know the results. The cancer should be gone by then, but he will know for sure by the 10th.

He is a little weaker and had to go to the ER once, but other than needing some rest, it looks good.

On another note (thanks to Dennis Doubleday) I have been e-mailing with a women, whose father took pictures at Detroit Dragway, back in the sixties and seventies.

Hoping to meet her in person, this next week and look the photos over.

Her father has since passed away and she is selling copies of his photos.

I'm hoping to find some "Super Camaro" photos, along with several others. I will share with all, if I come up with any.

Again, Thank You all for your support................Perry S. Wyatt Jr.

I met with Patrice this past week and spent five hours talking and looking thru old photos, so far none found of the "Super Camaro", but did come across several of Dwane Ong's front motored "Pawnbroker", my dad and Gallagher's Camaro, that they purchased from Huston Platt, Gallagher's "Super Bear" and a couple of shots of drag racers that were our neighbors when I was a child.

She has more negatives to scan and I hope the chance of finding a "SuperCamaro" shot exists, but I don't know.

She did however explained to me about an event that took place, she says, about ten years ago, that may be why she doesn't have more Detroit Dragway photos.

She said that her father was contacted by a "man" that said he was writing a book about Detroit Dragway and was looking for photos. She says her dad loaded up a box of photos and gave him the negatives(why?, she doesn't know), but they never heard from the guy again.

Yes, a "Big Mistake" she knows, but what can be done now?. Any help from anyone out there on this issue would be great. Could be a "Big Fish" story, but probably was the best shots of Detroit that her father would have had.

She is making 8 x 10' s' for me of the shots that I have asked for and has already sold shots to Valerie Harrell and Dale Pulde along with others. She sets up at car shows and other events.

If anyone would like to contact her, her name again is Patrice and e-mail her at: patricewati2ud@lycos.com

As always still looking for anything out there "Super Camaro", Thanks to my whole Draglist Family for all of these years of continued support and inspiration..........Perry S. Wyatt Jr.

Just verified with my Dad that another picture Patrice has, was a car that belonged to his group, if any of you have read the "Super Camaro" story, here on Draglist, you may recall a car my Dad was driving the day that I was born.

It was called the "Bad Banana". I have never seen it in my entire life, but Patrice has a photo of it at Detroit Dragway and as I said, Dad has verified, that it is the same car.

Soon as I get the photos from Patrice, I will share with the group............Perry Jr.
