Right now we're listening to The Police(before Sting left them)circa 1983. But the first thing I heard this AM was "Jesus just left Chicago" - kind of an appropriate thing to hear on Good Friday morning.

I was watching some old shows on my vcr and heard a song I haven't heard in a long time. Part of it went like this (I feel it in my fingers I feel it in my toes) I think it was by Donovan but not sure. Does anyone have any idea who this might be? I'm sure it was from the late 60's early 70's

Love is all Around
written by Reg Presley

I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
The love that's all around me
And so the feeling grows
It's written on the wind
It's everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show
You know I love you, I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning, there'll be no end
'Cause on my love you can depend
I see your face before me
As I lay on my bed
I cannot get to thinking
Of all the things you said
You gave your promise to me and I gave mine to you
I need someone beside me in everything I do
You know I love you, I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning, there'll be no end
'Cause on my love you can depend
I got to keep it moving
It's written in the wind
Oh everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it,
Come on and let it,
Come on and let it,
Come on and let it show

I believe it was originally done by the Troggs. Back then we "long haired types" used to call it Bubble Gum music. My little brother used to play it real loud on his stereo. I usually countered with Black Sabbath / Paranoid cranked up on my own stereo. It's a wonder our parents are still sane
LOL.
