It was still an awesome weekend for me and a perfect end to my first season behind the wheel since 1979. Even though the redlights put me out in the first rounds of the Team race and the Gamblers race I got a neat plaque just for qualifying for the Team race.

Good going Don.
Crossing the bridge to PEI sure ups the racing overhead.
What does is cost?

Crossing the Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island is $47.50 return for a car or truck. Then you get dinged $7.00 for each additional axle. That would make a Dually with a tri-axle trailer $68.50.

Those of us who travel from Nova Scotia take a ferry ride that costs more according to your total length. Up to 20 ft is $63.00, 21 ft to 40 ft is $84.00 and greater than 40 ft is $101.00 return.

If we decide to travel to New Brunswick and take the bridge we're looking at least three more hours driving each way plus the fuel burned for the six hour longer trip. We usually take the ferry 'cause their food is awesome and we get an hour and a half to bench race with all the other racers on the boat.

That is incredible...from where I sit...but you guys have an amazing drag racing scene going on...I suppose the logistics are part of the whole deal. Thanks for the info, Maritime. Congratulations again on a winning season! Cheers, WC1
