looking foward to the weekend in KC.. got a hollowed out John the Plumber van for the lap.. will be sportin' draglist and nitro madness stickers .... race coolers full.. (sorry no bottled Pepsi)

Short update from the KCIR race. We kicked the rods out on the 1st burnout, and never made a pass. It windowed the block in numerous spots and blew a silver dollar sized hole in the oil pan.

On a much brighter note, the place was packed with cars and fans both! Big Daddy was there and I got to watch him make a few burnouts and launches.

Sunday I don't know if they got the race in or not. It was raining again when I left at 11:30AM. They were trying hard though.

Ow, Jeez...sorry to hear that, Rapid...I know, it's bound to happen every now and then, but it still hurts...hope it's not a season-ending thing...WC1

Well if you offered up a list of 100 things that would happen to our car this weekend,,,that would have been somewhere in the #200 plus range.

WC, it was our last race of the year anyway. We have to leave it together for a display at a show on the other side of the state, then we can strip it for the winter and begin the process.

We have such a strong maintenance program,,it was quite surprising to all of us. We all took it pretty good, but it still sucks.
