I just can't seem to put the last run in the books. Yesterday we went to the track for what should have been the last run I need for my license. My parents and wife came along for the blessed event. We got to the track early and got the car unloaded and through tech. On my first pass I took it easy because I had a problem earlier with the car pulling to the right (that's a whole other story LOL) I ran a 10.07@133. So I'm feeling pretty good about the day. Then the rains came, and we waited for about two hrs. till every thing was cleaned up.They started running Eliminations and it started raining again. Around 5:30 they called for license runs. By this time I'm Hot,tired, and generally frustrated trying to explain bracket racing to my Dad for the umteenth time (he still doesn't get it ROF) I sat in line for over an hour while other classes ran. Finally they tell me it's my turn. I did my burn-out and turned the nitrous and pump on (one switch Mike) and staged. As soon as the last bulb lit I left, It's running real soft, so I got out of it at half track and coasted. When I got back to the pits I realized I forgot to open the bottle valve. I was so pissed We put the car in the trailer and came home. My Mother is so proud that I have expanded my vocabulary over the years LOL . She heard me say things no mother should ever hear come out of her baby boy's mouth. I need to see her this afternoon and say "sorry Mom"
