I JUST GOT MY PLANE TICKET!!!I fly into Des Moines Friday.I guess I'll be in Eddyville about 6pm.Fly back about 7pm Sunday. Randy, does the concession sell breakfast or should I bring all my own food?

That I am aware of, they don't serve breakfast. You will be on your own in that dept. The main town is only 5-miles away and has all the food joints you would want to eat at.

Did you see the post about rental cars? It is thru Enterprise Auto Rental, Call Craig at 515-282-8000. Tell him you are calling about the Rapid Randy Baker deal for the Draglist Nats. He will hook you up.

I plan on taking that Fri off, and meeting you guys at the track to help everyone get handled.

The airport is approx 1.5 hours or less from the racetrack.

Last time we were @ Eddyville, must have been mid to late 70's. It'll be interestin' to see if I remember any of it. Those brain cells are problee' long gone. :oops: :oops: :oops:

Would it be possible to get an idea as to what time everything will kick off on Saturday? My son is trying to book a flight and he may have to come in on Saturday morning, but how early should he get there so he won't miss anything.

:lol: well just depends Mike... i plan on getting on the grounds friday eve.. setting up camp and reveling in the fact of just being there and waking to the sounds of a fuel burning car warming up saturday morning.. taking a racegrounds shower and coffee, and trying not to get in the way all day saturday, then hanging out again with everyone here untill sleep time :D

Mike, I think whenever he could arrive would be fine. We have the run of the joint around the regular program. I advised them, except for who enters the bracket races, we would be done with the track before 6pm.

I suppose it starts whenever we wake up and start having fun. However, not as early as I see you wake up and post on here!!! :roll:

:lol: you got that right Randy!!! sometimes my back gives me a fit and i get up to move around and Mike has allready built a 1910 fuel pump or leafsprings for a horse drawn buggy before my eyes become unglued :lol:
