I am not sure how big that trailer you have it chained up in is,,,,but be careful driving down the road with it like that!!!
I'll just pull the nitrous bottles out from under it when it's time to go down the road.

Just sent an email off to Rich (tech guy). Trying to figure out the best place to put the crossmember I need to wrap up the IHRA chassis tech.

Oh, BTW Mike, I think the reason he's requiring this crossmember is because my feet extend beyond the forwardmost part of the winshield/roof bar. Since I've decided to go with aluminum seats I think my feet will be back further, but still will extend beyond the bar just a tad. If I sit in the caa up against the funny caa cage with no seat @ all my feet are in line with the bar, so I don't see me fixin' the problem by just moving back. Don't want my knees under my chin.

If I put the bar where he and i talked about it would have to go under the trans pan, which means about 2" ground clearance  I photochopped a few different alternatives and sent them off to Rich. Hopefully we can come up with a simple solution that he will be O.K. with.

The bar in question is the one the "Nitrous Bottles" are holding' up in the above pic.
