Well I guess I have lurked in the dark long enough. LOL
My name is Rob, I am from Moore Oklahoma and I have 2 drag cars, 71 Chevelle (10 inch tire car)and a 78 Nova (full back half race car only). The 71 Chevelle has been a dealer drag car (traced to Arkansas) since 76 and just got her first set of plates on her last year. The Nova has been a long time drag car here in OK and I bought her 2 months ago, tore her down to pieces, updated everything and she is ready to hit the track again with hopes of the bottom 9 sec passes.
My family and I are looking forward to hitting the tracks here and surrounding states twice a month starting in February with both cars for a little family fun and good ole heads up drag racing. I grew up in a family of drag racers in So Cal and I guess it is just something that is in our blood. I have enjoyed reading the many posts here and I would give a number of toes to have a copy of VICS Vega. I have to admit that the Floppers from the 70's are my absolute favorites.
