Ok folks UP-DATE: I was able to finally get info on our NHRR 2016
The Grand Marshal is Bill Bader Sr.

The honorees for 2016 are: Ron & Steve Boggs / Austin Myers / Ed Rachanski / Roy "Goob" Tuller / Chip Woodall.

They will be inducted Fri. nite at the "FREE" banquet at the host hotel. Only mins away from ours.

GREAT! In other news, I sent Steve Gibbs this email tonight (it's about time!):

It's been fun following along with your awesome family on facebook.
Not quite as good as being there, but pretty good anyway....

I and a lot of my draglist.com inner circle (who use the stolen name
"The Draglist Super Crew") are going to do our 11th annual reunion at
the NHRR in Bowling Green this year.

We have our hotel rooms booked and everything pretty much set.

However, at the event itself, I wonder what the process is to get a
place somewhere in the pits for us to set up a small pop up or
something that we can meet at (like the Standard 1320/Nitrogeezers
stuff we did at the first one). Is there any premium we can pay to
obtain a small space like that?

I would also like to ask about the event credentials we obtained back
then and see if there is a way I can buy a number of those... I think
we are probably talking about 15-20 people overall.

If there is a POC you can point me to who can work with me on these
questions, please pass them along.

O.K. I've been thumbing through this thread & I can't seem to find the post with the hotel info. I need to call & cancel our second room since Jeff can't go. That will give us another room if we need it, (I don't if our block of rooms is full or not?)

ZAP if you need Jeff's deleted room it's back on the market. He said it will probably go fast. I told the guy I thought I'd booked 2 rooms last Feb or so, but couldn't remember exactly. He said yup, I remember you. WOW, really, good thing somebody remembered. The guy said he's involved with a car that's running at the reunion, sounded pretty pumped about this year's event. Sounds like it's going to be MONUMENTAL. Oh wait, that was last year.

Thanks Pro, but our deadline has passed. The discounted Drag list rate was a limited time. To get the $71.00 rate we HAD to book early.
Any rooms that we did not use (Linda had 10 ) including any turned back in , go back in the public, and are now going for $ 120.00.

At last check I believe we are using 9 rooms for our "core" group. And yes Pro, this will also be MONUMENTAL
