Hey Randy, send me the schedule for the race in Tulsa and ill tell Tim Fox to come see you if he is in town that wkend. Tim is the son of my employer and drives a Lear 31A,among others.

hey tulsa is only about 3 hrs from here when are you racing there? maybe i can make it over there for that one.

I will get the info to you guys. I know we are going down Fri, the 26th. I am not sure if it is a qualify on Sat the 27th of May, and race on Sunday or if it is a qualify and race Sat nite only.
I will get the info and post it. It would be good to see some extras show up over there.

yes Scott and Jerry has bought eddyville it was a close guarded secret lol
well maybe not since Scott told me about it at the Cordova banquet and i am normally the last to find out anything

Hi Rock, glad you made it here.
Either Scott, or Pappy, or RC, said to the water hose guy we need lots of water down. The young man did exactly as we asked, he put lots of water down. However it was deep water, not spread out big area of water. He didn't know. I asked right before fire up, did someone tell them we need lots of water,,,yes was the reply. I believe everyone on the team now knows to explain to the guy working the water box EXACTLY what we need done.
When I rolled up there, I knew what was going to happen. He had made us a nice deep puddle of water, but what it takes, is water spread out so the slick gets nice and coated. Well, when the slicks went into the puddle I tried to give it a blip to get them wet. It just wasn't enough. So the minute the started to spin, they dried up and grabbed the track. Especially since they were a new set of tires, I knew we weren't going to get too far down the track. We didn't. It went about 30-foot and knocked the tires off it.

Nitro Madness is going to be in Tulsa, Ok on the 27th of May. That is a Saturday. We will be going down the 26th, and it is a 1-day event for us. The race is a 2-day event as I understand. The altereds 1st round is 7:00PM according to the flyer.
If you go to the Outlaw Fuel Altereds web site, you will find the motel info with a discounted rate.
Anybody who is in the area come on down and see us. The Outlaws put on a GREAT show!

randy, i'd love to come over there and watch you race........................but eddie came and saw me yesterday and asked why i wasn't at rogersville sat, they're having another shootout that weekend and i hate to let my fans down

i guess we'll just meet up in eddyville, oh and eddie ran a 4.22@ 172.5, a new best. he says there may be some left yet

Flyin' a 4.20 could have won at gateway saturday.. it was cold and slick tho.. low et of the meet was 4.15 in the final if i recall.. Allen Hodges i think?

yea, eddie is a bad dood. the crazy thing is his pit crew consists of him, his wife, and his daughter...............two chicks and a bald guy, also no sponsors he's independent all the way, the closest thing he has to sponsors is i do his paint and body for free, and nomad pipe and fab does some welding for him, veeeeeeeeery few like that anymore. oh and he's a workin' shmoe also builds transmissions for a living, the best as far as i'm concerned. sorry 'bout jackin your thread randy.
