Thanks, BP. I hope to have a much better ET to report in the near future!!
We're taking the body in for the airbrush work on the grille, rear window and taillights tomorrow. We spent some time today changing the taillight flaps. We made them smaller so they fit inside the opening. I think it looks a little better.
Once the airbrush work is done, we'll be getting pro70z28 to do some more lettering.
I might also be having some sponsors come on board.

Rocky, let me know as soon as you have the rest of the lettering decided. I could use the lead time, things have been super busy around here lately.
Thanks

OK, pro. It's in getting the grill, taillights and rear window done now.
I'm supposed to get it back early next week.
I hope to be ready after I get it back.

Thanks, Jim.
Here's a link to the TV station that was there. They're selling DVD's of the race for $20.00.
http://www.wktv.org/shop_wktv.html
It's got the GLNFCC and Supercharged Thunder plus the nitro cars and some gassers.
It includes a nitro bike going 218mph in the eighth and scattering the motor along with Terry Haddock exploding his funny car and then fireballing his dragster.

I hadn't realized that it's been so long since I posted here. Sorry.
The weekend at Martin was fun. We attempted to make two passes there on the Friday test and tune session, but by the time we got there and up to run, the dew had set in and I had to abort both runs due to the car slipping and sliding.
On Saturday we made our first run against the Doran Camaro of Steve Timoszyk. He got out on me and I couldn't catch up. The tires never hooked the entire rin and we ran an 8.05 to his mid seven second pass.
The coolest part was getting interviewed by the community TV station that was covering the event. Unfortunately they didn't use any of the GHNFCC interviews. I've heard that some of their footage got damaged in some way and was unusable.
Beside our usual crew of Kenny Dodds, Steve Casey, Bear and of course, the inimitable bandit, we also had Big Zappy and the Zapette along with PJ helping out. All fun people to be around.
