Today my blog leans on the more serious side of racing... I discuss the smart safety advantage of being able to get out of your race car quickly... Actually practicing a "fast escape" from your race car, so you're better prepared in the event of a fire or mishap is something I strongly recommend... And I strongly suggest that this particular blog be read by ALL racers (whether they be drag racers or participants in ANY form of motorsports)... If you know a driver or have a family member or friend who races that you care about, do them a huge and LOVING favor by insisting that they read this blog-- It might save them from potential injury and grief in the future... Let's face it, safety trumps all other matters among those of us who really know and love our drag racing... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Drivers should be able to quickly "escape" from their race cars in the event of a catastrophic fire or mishap. Here you see me wearing the necessary safety gear for a trip down the drag strip. I'm always one for encouraging safety. If today's blog can save even just one racer from getting burned, hurt, or worse, I've done my job...

E'Town's NIGHT OF THRILLS was a blast last night... It was so cool to meet many of my blog readers in the Drag Racing Underground tent...
