Sharon is burning up the AAA Washington DC guide book. She wants to go through the Capitol building, Holocaust Museum. Botanical Gardens, do a tour of Georgetown, possible lunch at the Filomena Ristorante in Georgetown, lunch Capitol Grille, Marine Memorial, the MInt, and that is the short list. We are arriving on Tues. afternoon and plan to go into town on Wed. morninig.

Just called the Bureau of Engraving and the girl told me that camera & cases or fanny packs are allowed on the tour.
Zappy, Uncle Vito will have to stay at home with his violin.

Yup, just can't use them in restricted areas.
FYI: They made me take Cheryl's purse back to the car when we went to the Denver Mint. We were late, so I had to run. I felt like a purse snatcher.
All I would have needed would have been for Cheryl to yell, STOP THIEF.

WARNING !!-WARNING !! ATTN: DLN 10'ers. LL called the hotel just to check on things. Much to her surprise they told her NO ONE has booked a
room under "DRAG LIST". o, zilch, none. They (COMFORT INN) told her they will only hold the block of rooms until the 16th, this SUNDAY.
PLEASE don't put it off. It's time to drop the hammer - dump the clutch - let go the tranny button.

I finally got around to booking the rooms for the Monumental Event.
We booked 2 rooms back in May. I wonder what happened?
