Short Circuit - Johnny five oh how I liked that movie. I didn't know till now that the name Johnny Five is a Robotics programming framework. Learn something everyday! Ben Jabituya, an Indian scientist portrayed by Fisher Stevens in the movie was just magic but you have to listen closely to what he is saying. It just slayed my funny bone. Unexpectedly right after the movie was released we had a tech give a description for some parts we used at the Timken Co. for honing the rollers of the bearings. He sounded exactly, I mean exactly, like Ben Jabituya in the movie. I couldn't keep it together and my boss was not pleased with my reaction in this very formal class. It was something akin to laughing at a funeral. No amount of explaining would have been enough so I just let it slide. Makes me laugh just to think of it. Thanks Zappy.

Ok back on task. I have no problem with a lil side trip to Nashville. Also we are only two months out, so I need numbers, they warned me to reserve e early if we want to tour together. So Does anyone want to tour the Vette assembly plant ?? And anyone want to tour the cave in the boat. Both are in Bowling Green.

Mapquest says it will take us 6.5 hours to get there. We plan to leave Thursday morning, so I'm guessing we'll show up late afternoon, factoring in a fuel stop, food stops, old people stops. We'd kinda like to see the Corvette museum since we only saw the outside last time. So, we really don't know if there's corvettes in that building or just a big hole in the floor. Well, maybe there's both, but we don't have personal eye witness verification of that.
We'd like to see the Corvette plant too, but if Friday doesn't work for these events, we're o.k. with that. The Nashville deal sounds cool too. So many places, so little time. LQQKin' forward too seeing a drag strip we've never seen before. Hope the gates not locked this trip.

Ok friends, I believe the plant tours are mornings only. So I suggest we do that Fri AM. That way we can have lunch then do the cave/boat tour in the PM. Those that don't care for that can go to the Vette museum Fri pm. That you walk yourself, so no reservations needed.

PS yes Pro there are lots of cars inside...and one big hole, glass covered & lit so you can see how deep the hole was. Perhaps you could do that Thur. pm if you get in early enough, and then ya could join us for the boat tour on Fri pm IF you would like............?? just a thought.

HI, Denise and Jason will be coming, but Denise may arrive late. She will be right on the cusp of the school year. We may have to drive out first and fly her to Nashville. Not sure about all the dates yet. The school year got extended due to the snow days we had. bp
