Thanks, ProZ! I see a black oval on the left, then 4 buggies, an aircooled cabriolet, and a vanagon...is there something behind those folks standing next to the old black bug? I have now seen 2 aircooled bugs since yesterday. One was all painted up psychedelic-like, going the other way. We waved at each other. It looked like an early 60s model, and it was a little ragged. Today I saw a red like-new late model, not a water-cooled bug, though, it was aircooled...he was already down the street by the time I saw him. I would have gone over to Bap-Geon today to browse for stuff but Debby went to Galveston for a couple or three days to be with my stepmom, Dad's been having some problems and they're trying to get him stabilized but so far he's having a tough time. He'll be fine once they get him on the right meds, but as of yet they've missed the target level for him to relax and rest. Anyway, she ordered 2 new toilets and the guy came over today and installed 'em...I supppose I could have done it, I've done them before, but this dude was in and out of here in less than an hour and a half...start to finish...I hire him every so often. I figure he makes around at least 200 grand a year just going from client to client, he's a word-of-mouth handyman and he can fix anything. Anything. He told me to compliment Debby on her choice of toilets. She got some real nice ones. I'm on a tangent and I don't want to derail my own thread...I've been driving the bug daily and it's a terrific ride. It's fun, and that's what I wanted to do was have some fun. I applied the DragList sticker to the rear window this afternoon, went up to Borders and got a Hot VWs magazine. Life is good. Cheers, WC1

Not that the two are always on speaking terms, or even slightly compatible for that matter......but don't Cats scratch at a "Flea"? "could" be considered the ultimate payback....."Take me to my destination, Insect!!"......Or.....maybe not....

Ok....perhaps I need to brush the cobwebs outta my thinkin' cap, its not making a good connection
