Thanks for all the well wishes :D This is a major step forward for us. I'm excited and scared at the same time :lol: I've never been in this situation before, so if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears

When you go to the meeting. Don't tell them what a great racer you are. You could be the worst racer in the world, but if you can help market their product, you are the guy they need.

Start off by telling them how many events you attend. Know approx how many people normally attend the events. Ask lots of questions to find out what they hope to achieve by being associated with you and the race car. It isn't necessary for you to put a plan of action out in front of them on the first meeting. Let them know you are interested, and explain you didn't come to the meeting with all the answers. You want the first meeting to meet the people involved, and lay out some ideas of how you can help each other.
