Thanks again everyone.
Wheelz, I am very careful on what I feed the bear, but I have bought him a meal or two.
Bandit, When you get back I'll be glad to buy you lunch also. In fact, when you get back we can have a team meeting in the shop with some pizza and refreshments of choice. :D  :D
Billy, I drink more than my fair share of DR. Pepper myself. The diet version, of course. Gotta watch the sugar.

bandit, I'm ready. Kenny and Steve were here today and we did a little cabinet painting in the garage. Hopefully I'll be able to get the car in there by the weekend. You won't recognize the place when you see it. FWIW, I'm not moving the refrigerator, so it will be in the same place....LOL

Bandit, I'm always thinking of you and the rest of the crew. :D :D

Erik, I was a charter member of the Midwest Funny Car Association and served as it's president for 7 years.
I always enjoyed running at Cordova and da Grove the best of all the places we ran. Of course, they were also the closest.
I sure would like to see the Great Lakes Nostalgia Funny Car Circuit get some bookings at Cordova. I know Denny has been trying so maybe next year????

The Solid Rock Racing team is very proud to announce that it is now affiliated with the Hotrodders of Tomorrow. They will be joining up with Mike Johnstone and his Illinois Patrol Dodge Omni funny car and also with his Beat the Heat bracket cars, who have previously been involved with this great program.
Both teams will be promoting the Hotrodders of Tomorrow program, along with safe driving and the importance of their general studies at various high schools and vocational centers in the greater Chicagoland area in 2010.
The Solid Rock 1971 Mustang Mach I will be on display at the Hotrodders of Tomorrow engine challenge display at the Race and Performance Expo at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois on March 6th and 7th, 2010.
The Hotrodders of Tomorrow is an engine tear down and rebuild competition program featuring high school auto tech classes from around the country.

It's activities like this that you participate in, as well as its beauty that make your Funny Car operation so great, Rocky. Thanks for the update, good luck with this alliance, and thanks for putting your hot rod right in front of kids who are looking for something positive to do with their lives. I can't think of a better thing you could have done with that car. Great going! Cheers, WC1
