Or, shoveling snow to get to the car to work on it!

it's more like putting on my hip waders to get through the mud to work on the car... We are finally getting some some today, but it's been raining and raining and raining and....
I bought a Donovan short block last weekend. I only needed the block, but he didn't want to peice it out. I'm having a heck of a time finding one, and this is a nice peice, so I got it. So if anyone needs any 417 rotating assembly peices or sleeves - I've got an abundance of them.
Sat down last night and made a list of everything that I need to order to put this thing back together. It's not a very long list, unfortunately it's not a very inexpensive list either.
so to answer your question, I haven't accomplished much yet this winter, but I'm gettin there.

Going to pick up the short block on Sunday. Got all of the peices that I need ordered yesterday - yeah I know, nothing like waiting too long... I got my new wheelie bar kit Monday and got the rear end out from under it to clean off all of the old brackets and get it ready for the new ones.
I've been invited to put the car in the Cleveland Auto-rama custom car show in the Thompson Raceway group. I was initially going to decline so that I didn't have to rush my re-assembly, but then I thought maybe it's a good thing to put a deadline on it. So I'm going to be in the show on the weekend of March 16.
