The story of the Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen includes their historic "Hot Wheels" Funny Cars and so much more. Their rivalry was real and the biopic film about their lives and racing careers is progressing well...

Their famous 1970's "Hot Wheels" Funny Cars revolutionized drag racing marketing to the masses.

I am realy lookin forward to the film, not near enough drag racing films. Just as long as they get the racing scenes right.
No 45 second races - with the drivers lookin over at each other - shifting every 15 seconds. PLEASE!!!

Zappy, I'm pretty confident that the film will please both hardcore drag fans and novice viewers as well... As far as "45 second" races go, sometimes it seems to me that even during regular TV drag racing coverage, when multiple camera angles are used, it appears that the racing gets stretched out a bit to make it more watchable for those who dare to blink-- or maybe I'm wrong-- I dunno... We haven't had a real drag racing movie in decades, the SNAKE & MONGOOSE feature film will provide a fix that's long overdue... I believe this is something to be genuinely excited about... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Seeing and hearing the Greer-Black-Prudhomme dragster fired up for the first time in nearly half a century, with Don "The Snake" Prudhomme in the cockpit is nothing short of enchanting... Owner Bruce Meyer has really done good with the car... As I wrote in my recent blog about the developments of the SNAKE & MONGOOSE movie, according to those making the film, one of the most memorable moments of the project was witnessing an elated Don Prudomme on the set, with an ear-to-ear grin on his face, as he sat behind the wheel of the fired-up Greer-Black- Prudhomme dragster... "Snake" was happy as a clam at high tide... I have a very good feeling about this film, I believe it's gonna deliver the goods on the big screen... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Morebetter99 thanks for that link. It is AWWWWSOME!!! They can say what they want about Pro/mods, AA/FA's, Pro stock, and funny cars, there all cool. BUT – when it comes to the all out, undisputed, hands down, bar none, King of the sport... In my opinion, it has to be, without a doubt, the " FUEL DRAGSTER".
