We're kicking around the idea of leaving monday night after everybody gets off work. All depends on Jeff & what his Monday hours will be. He's working days because a lady is on maternity leave, but he goes back on evenings when she returns, which could be most any day now.
(Leaving Tuesday, we'd be in Gettysburg Wednesday around noon, not so good for photos  ).
A Monday start could put us in Gettysburg Tuesday early afternoon, photo op during late afternoon/dusk & then maybe head to the Waldorf hotel Tuesday, only a couple hours from Gettysburg.
All depends if that lady just stays home awhile longer. :?:

Sounds great, everyone! Thanks, Zappy, for the offer on Danny, Gena, and John. I can definitely handle them in the Draglist Super Van!

The hotel conference room is awesome if available, but the Draglist.com Super Crew World Headquarters is literally five minutes from there and all are welcome at all times. Our home is your home (that weekend and always)!

We will have a great time downtown. We can use Wednesday as a test run to get everyone acclimated to DC. So, when I head to Baltimore to get the Texas contingent, you guys and gals can continue checking stuff out.

Denise says that there are moonlight tours of Washington that last three hours and are 40 dollars. Or you can ride with me in the van (if you dare) and we can see the sights. Besides, I will do as many u-turns as I need to in order to show us everything. HOWEVER... if you are trying to follow me in DC, look out! :D Naw... I'll let you catch up!

PS... we have a major presentation on a new IT development process that we are rolling out... I am visiting 30 some agencies to present it... EXCEPT during that week! The Draglist Super Crew is literally determining the schedule of some of the top agencies in Washington, DC! (Actually, I would sneak away in a business suit if I have to, but I've been able to schedule them all around us!)

We are SUPER excited to host our dear friends! Sister Nancy and her man Zak are about a half hour away for a weekend visit, so this is a test run for us! bp

Last time I chatted with Randy, it wasn't likely he'd make it

Em is teaching young musicians as a camp counselor at a fine arts camp near Muskegon, Michigan, this summer. (She's playing on the internet radio tomorrow night at 8pm). She flies home on Monday and we take her back next weekend to move her into her new apartment for the school year. BUT... she wants us to fly her down for the Draglist Nats so that she can join the jam session with Cat (on our ancient player piano -- built by a company that went out of business with the Chicago Fire) and Darryl, who will bring his bass guitar! But... it all depends on her class schedule. If it's down to the money for a plane ticket, she's here!

Jason's orders to the ship in San Diego got postponed from August to October, so he will not make it.

We will miss Randy and all our other Draglist Super Crew who can't make it, but we'll have fun on their behalf and post photos! bp
