Gonna' spend the day with Jeff, showin' his car @ the Equistar car show. Sunny & calm so far. Should be an enjoyable day, last car show of the year in this area. We were up late last night gettin' it all cleaned up. Finally gave up & decided to finish it once we're there.

Have fun pro. If you see James Brown, world renowned drag racing photographer, magician, and all around nice guy, ask him about the trophy he got at the Sheriff's Challenge. I believe it was the biggest one that they gave out!!

I would like to make it to the show but we are going to the Burgoo festival in Utica. It's an annual thing for us.

We might even go over to LaSalle to the, get this, "South Shore Beach Club on the North Shore of the Illinois river". LOL

The only bad spots on the paint were the front bumper (replaced that 1) Then there is a scratch on the rear bumper cover that really looks nasty.Looked like it got keyed. I started rubbin' on it with compound last night and found most of the nasty stuff was somebudies attempt to touch it up. I rubbed the touch up paint off and now there is just a fineline scratch left that you could miss if your not lookin' for it. That made Jeff's day.

The car looks great. I like the stripes. You hit the one long shot in the body business. Starting on something and having it turn out to be LESS that what you started into! It is usually the other way for me.

Good Luck today at the show!! 8)

Sorry you couldn't make it Rocky. They ended up with just over 1,000 cars. Yup Randy I know what you mean, (sorta' like) those lil' specs of rust over the wheel well spell trouble. Jeff says thanks BP. Doc, maybe a stainless nose would hold up to those curbs better.

Got our last sunburn of the season yesterday. It was a perfect day. Weather was excellent, Jeff & I had fun. Cheryl showed up later & we all went to Jenni & J.D. for burgers on the grill. Great way to end the season. 8) 8)
