Ok...dad-gummit....either You stole MY bug catcher or I stole yours......ummm wait a second....yours is still chrome with red butterflys....Mine is Blue with silver butterflys......is it possible that there are more than one of those things in existence???? (HA HA HA)

Hey FHB.. YUP, it's a '66. I got such a good deal on it, I couldn't pass it up.yay, doug got a chevelle!!!
Actually a friend of mine bought the car for me because he knew how bad I wanted one.. LOL...
I was in Oklahoma working, flew to Charlotte so we could pick it up and then flew back out there to work..
It needs finishing and I don't have a tone of pics yet as it's at his shop and I have not had much time to work on it.
Still needs some welding on the cage, aluminum in the trunk, brakes, rear axles and a little body work.
I want to leave the small block in the car for next season and just drive it. Maybe put the big motor and electronics in later in the season and do some throttle stop racing.
Thats my goal with the big motor. I want to chase some division 9 H/ROD points....
It's all coming together..

Don't worry though, I aint stealing your look.. That tunnel ram and quads are coming off the small block in favor of a Team-G and a right nice Quick Fuel 970 that I bought at the Rock...
Looks like Peggy is coming along real nice..
