I'll answer for 'im... Danny lives in Bogata, Texas, a little town nestled in the northeast corner of Texas. Probably just as close to Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana than it is to Dallas... bp

Redline is a good track, it has the best lighting of any track around here. Good pits. Good track. PM record is 4.00 and altereds have been in the low fours. The shutdown is the weakest part of the track, short with a curve at the end. It is a must have chute open track.

Kennedale is very much like Redline. Well lite, good pits, good surface. It has a oval track banked curve at the end . It is a little better on shut than Redline. You need chutes out tough. Mitch King has been in the threes.

I live 120 NE of Dallas in Bogata. A very, very small town.

Mokan is a heck of a drive for me. say hello to Chuck for me.

Funny little deal about the driver working on the car. I do the fuel system, and discuss the set-up with Scott. The guys service the engine, fuel it etc. :p

Last night it was getting late and they were ready to take off, but we hadn't checked the bearings yet. I wanted to look at a few rather than wait because we move the timing up a degree and I had made some changes in the fuel system.

So I dropped down and Scott and I started pulling some rod bearings. Of course the usual, "I didn't know you remembered how". Along with, "Can you check bearings in a -20 suit?" coupled with an occasional "I didn't think you could check the bearings from the drivers seat"! :D

The guys use a marker and "X" the aluminum rods they have done. So last nite when I was done with each one,,,,,,I autographed it with "Rapid"! I didn't say anything, just did it.

Pappy {crewguy} just couldn't leave with us doing his job, so he dropped down to check us,,,and broke out laughing! :D

It seemed pretty funny at the time, but maybe it was just because it was 1:00 in the morning! :p
