forgot to tell you /him , if he keeps his military Id on him or he dresses in dress blues/whites , he can ride the pace buses( the local buses ) and the cta for free ( or reduced rate ) since he will be classifed as active serviceman just show Id when getting on the bus or at the el station ( mary is going to double check and we have some ride passes if they charge fare we can send him ) . just show it when getting on the bus , the same wit hthe El trains in chicago as they are Cta , But he has to pay to take the metra train to the city and back .and stay out of the city of waukegan as its nothing but trouble now

OK the word from mary he has to be in Uniform ( dress or service ) in order to ride free on both CTA or Pace . Metra you have to pay . and if he take the train out of union station its always On time leaving .

Thanks, Stimpy. I'm in Colorado, but Denise and Emily got a ten minute call from Jason today. He is enjoying it so far. Food is good, work is hard, but as he expected. Gets shots Monday, full uniforms Tuesday. We will get his address by Tuesday, too. Emily said he sounded really excited about it all...

Cool Monitor Lizard, Cat! bp

Good luck to Jason, the stimpys are helping pave the road for him! I'm on a Nick-Kick this week. Now that he can drive, his horizons are limitless. I fixed him up with a new business graphic (card, website when he gets that together...Facebook...?) Anyway, I don't think he likes this, but I went old-school with it. Enjoy! WC1

Big news around here is Nick just up and went out and got a haircut. That corkscrew hair down to his shoulders is gone, replaced by a short, smart-as-hell-looking 'do. I made a little flyer for his duo with his buddy Austin they call "Macrocosm". I sometimes sit in on bass with them. These 2 guys are making some incredibly complex and beautiful music. Cheers, WC1

Thursday night, Nick entered the Guitar Center Drum-Off. I took pictures of his performance...they put him on first, he did fine but it's never easy to go on first...he dropped a stick in the middle of his set...a few other guys did, too. Debby videod the whole thing. Anyway, he's got a great thing going with his buddy Austin. I hope to see them make something out of the music they're doing. I have enjoyed listening to them jam in there. Cheers, WC1
