ok new plan, there's going to be a wheelie contest at my home track the middle of next month, i can loose some weight off of the front of the car ( water pump, radiator, hoses  ) so i'm going to add about 300 pounds to the trunk, and about 3-400 horsepower worth of nitrous oxide, and try real hard to do something stoopid. here's the thread on the ozarkdragstrip message board http://ozarkdragstrip.proboards39.com/i ... 1154534461

There ya go F.H., we don't run water, how long has it gotta run? Not very long!! If you were on alky with a nitrous and gas kicker, you could drive it home with no water!!  Water is for livestock anyway.
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

the lack of water and the prospect of overheating really don't bother me at this point, i kind of hope to throw parts through the fenders  i've seen that happen once in my life, pretty awe inspiring. as far as safety i have an old open faced helmet dubbed the stupid helmet as every time i put it on it seems to neutralize my prefrontal cortex. so i'll put on my back brace, the stupid helmet, suck the harness up way tight and get smooth after it, i'm still debating on wheather to do it with my eyes open or closed. somehow i think closed would be more spectacular. 8)

well, i went to the shootout last night and no one claimed the wheelie bounty so it doubles to $300 at the street machine shootout the 16th of next month. i intend on winning it, i've intended on a lot of things that haven't come to fruition. we'll see how it shakes out.

well folks i fear that sanity may have wormed its way back into my head :x i have a stock 350 short block that i can put my motown heads on and bracket race a few times before the season ends. i'll also put the nitrous system on it in case i feel the need for speed  how much spray you think a stock 350'll take? :twisted:ok, so maybe sanity ain't exactly the right word
