I went to Cecil County today for a little T&T before the race in Virginia in May. 1st pass was10.31@ 129.53 I was a little surprised it was that slow. 2nd pass was 10.335 @128.91 so I'm thinking OK that's all she wants to run. 1st round I dialed 10.30 and ran a 10.337 @128.68. Not bad for consistency. I'm all excited about going to the 2nd round, thinking this might be my day. 2nd round I ran a faster car and left first, Half track I still don't see him and I'm foolishly thinking 3rd round. At about 1000' it just exploded, the only good parts left are a carb and intake. I really don't know if there's another motor in my future or if I should just quit and sell everything. I'm pretty pissed right now so things could change. It sure changed my plans for the summer.

Pappy,,,that really sucks. Never give up buddy,,,,NOTHING else even comes close to replacing drag racing!!

Give it some time and LOTS of thought before making any decisions.

Thanks guys. I know it's not the end of the world, even though it feels like it. I had such high hopes for this year.

It made me sick to read this, but it happened for a reason and it does not signal the end for this car or for your drag racing, Pappy. Take a step back, take a long breath, take a break and think it over for a while. I have complete confidence in your ability and the greatness of your talent. You'll get it back together. Can't say much more than that. WC1
