Hey folks don't forget someone said our hotel has a meeting room we can use. We can chip in and get some pizzas one evening.
A rough estamate has us at 18, with the TEXAS Trio, Bandit & Ohio Dave, Thats gonna be tough at any resturant. To break into smaller groups to eat may be the best.
You know, these five want Chinese - these 6 want Mexican - these want sea food, these want burger & fries.....ect ect.
As long as we have the "TRADITIONAL" Fri.nite together with all, and Sun. breakfast, Im happy. (Don't forget we also have all day at track Sat. together).

Good points. We have carry out and delivery at our place, too. Of course, those poor guys all must think we have moved as we don't order like we used to! bp

I might have take a day and do a little panhandling down by the White House to help pay for the trip but woo hoo, can't wait!!

Don't worry youngin' as the old guy will take care of ya. At a nominal fee!!!!

This is going to be one phenomenal week for all of us. First we have a headquarters or home
base, two gracious guests that are willing to sacrifice their vacation time to be our guide, special
treatment at the track, flying Texans (!), maybe a personal jam session, a guy at the end of the
alphabetical list (Zappy), a hairy primate (?), a guy who lost a whole man in size, people from across
the border, we get to visit our Nation's Capitol, see many things for the first and maybe one and only
time, although many of us have never meet we already feel like friends, so again what a week
this will be. This year Sharon and I have been blessed with many things but this is going to be
something special to add to the list but knowingly it will be too short. This is going to be BIG but
we will have to let the Texans let us know if it is BIG as they are the experts on that.
Okay can Capn' Jack get an Amen to that?

Yer so right Jack, this is gonna be something special. Most of us seeing world famous sites for the first time. We get a rare appearance of our TEXAS friends,
along with our favorite "imports" from the north. We have the rumored first meeting of some east coast D'LISTERS. I am SO Lookin forward to the JAM
sessions. And the first ever "Backyard BBQ". And for comic relief "BANDIT & ZAPPY" will be in the house. (he made me give him top billing). So there should be plenty
of laughs to go around. ALL this and I hear there is also a DRAG RACE, a NOSTALGIA one at that. Can it get any better???
