Man it's hard to get a full day in on the "Z". After gettin some work stuff out of the way I got the sleeves welded in for (both) seats, got the driver's side seat bolted in and the back bolted to the center shoulder bar. Started figurin' out the seat belt tabs and poof, time to quit. ( had a dinner to go to). I don't like to miss meals.

BTW: Once the seat was bolted in I put the helmet on, sat in the seat to double checked head clearance to the f/c cage. And, even thoough I thought about it, I managed to refrain from any V-A-R-O-O-M stuff.

Christmas came early. Yesterday Lou Balegno came over to get a couple names cut out for his daughter's "Katie" camaro. She was runnin' a junior dragster and now her and her dad are buildin' a bracket car for her to move up to. As we were talkin' I mentioned i could use a block & heads for the "Z" cuz' I can't bolt up the headers real tight to the foam block to get an accurate location for the collectors & stuff. Well today Lou shows up to get the vinyl for the camaro and whatdayaknow, he's got a windowed 454 "compliments of Billy Hurst" who had his season end much like Mike this fall. :( And Lou had an extra set of heads under the bench. :D Very cool deal thanks Lou & Billy.

Pics. later.
