ok....so the bottom of my motor is complete (except for the pickup tube for my oil pump)....8 big ol' coffee cans all nestled in their respective holes....to ME...it's a beautiful site. Tim wants me to get head studs and a new set of rocker studs (as soon as I can) so we can finish buttoning up this beast. We have decided to go ahead and run Peggy just on gas, to sort the enevitable bugs out of it...and THEN switch over to alky when I can better aford to make the change (at this rate....somewhere around 2020

)......but in doing it this way...we WILL know how much difference turning Peggy into a lush really makes.
I'm getting antsy as all get out to toss this wanna-be boat anchor over between the frame rails of my go-cart chassis and drape the body panels back in place......then a squirt or two (or a dozen) of some blue and silver paint (with a black pin stripe here and there) and then it's off to a dragstrip somewhere near me (I've only got 10 of 'em to choose from within a 4 hour trip

)......After nearly 5 years of not running my own car....I "hope" I can remember how to do it

......What am I talking about????.....With as many "passes" as I have made in the shop, I could prolly do it blind folded and never scuff the shiney
