   all that power seems like a waste to me sitting in a tractor puller, how quick do you think that would propel a 2600lb 65 chevelle??

:D I'm with you on that F.H..... I have been to a couple PULL shows over the years and i do respect the engineering involved etc. just not for me.. they do draw good crowds and they sure have a fan following.. same deal with monster trucks.. BIG FOOT was (still is ) based here right up the main drag from me.. BIG BUSINESS for sure... I just never got into offroading, 4-wheeling... dirt and mud..and i never had a c.b. radio either

there's a guy here locally that has three two wheel drive pull trucks, all 3 have 14/71 blown arias hemis in them, one of his engine setups costs more than i make a YEAR!!! but he chooses to wind the p*ss out of them at 20mph  if i all of a sudden inherited that operation i'd sell the trucks, keep two of the engines, sell the third, and put a lenco in my chevelle  rev her up to six thousand rpm's and just slide my foot off the clutch  it would make for one helluva show at the very least. i did get into off roading at one time, tore up a pretty good 69 chevy short wide 4x4, yes i had a cb in it too  but i did later sell the truck and made 17k fixing it up for the guy  now it's too nice to drive and just takes up space in his garage

What's neat is there are cylinders under it too. It's a Russian radial engine. I would not like to pay for the spark plugs, run the valves, or be the engine builder and explain why when it dropped a valve, it cost you 150 grand.
