I'm also looking forward to it since our 15th anniversary is on the 18th and we really haven't been on anything that resembles a vacation since we went to California five years ago! And I'm excited to spend time with our friends and make new ones as well.

All sounds great! I called two of our MIR legends today and got those interviews done for the bios I'll be reading at the track. Trying to get our head around all the options being presented! I will definitely drive some folks around DC on Wednesday night. I think Boyd and Susan are still in for the moonlight tour on Thursday night? Anyone else? Denise's brother Derick (huge F1 fan, but we can convert him) and his girlfriend Kelly are flying in on Thursday, too, but will have their own car. They are interested in the moonlight drive trolley, too. We might have two different camps that night? Trolley and Waldorf? Friday is all about the big BBQ. Denise is going to get a huge tub of pulled pork and pulled chicken BBQ from Famous Dave's... and will work up a bunch of her famous salads (broccoli/bacon, potato, macaroni, coleslaw, calico beans, and whatever else we come up with!) Hey, nifty flyer BP!!! We be some pretty important sounding folks. That "Southern Slingshot" group sounds very in teresting, being a diehard digger fan.
I can't believe we are finaly down to just days before lift off. The needle on the geek meter is creeping up.

Southern Slingshots are gonna be there? Cool! That's the group that Daryl races with occasionally!

If we do the Wednesday night tour Sharon and I will not be going on the
Thursday moonlight trolley tour. We are going to try to get back up to
Union Station for the dinner then we will return to Waldorf for the evening.
We are stopping in Frederick, MD to eat dinner on Wed. on the way down.
The Garmin is locked and loaded for departure. Sails will be in full bloom
at 12:00 noon on Tuesday.

I haven't made plans with the trolley deal yet, but it sounds like I should get tickets for Thursday?
It will probably be Friday afternoon/evening before I get a chance to book the tickets.
I'd definately like to get some night photos of the monuments.
