FWIW, There is a story about the multiple birthdays that I feel I must let some of you in on. Rapid, This pains me cause you know how I like to give you a hard time!! LOL

A couple of years ago there was a happy birthday thread for Rapid and BP, who's Bday is close to Rapids. All was fine and dandy til a month or two later when someone, I don't remember who, possibly a newbie, found this thread in the archives and must not have looked at the date. He or she posted happy birthday wishes to both BP and RR. Then it seemed like the same thing happened with different people for the next several months.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!

One other thing, every time any one had a birthday after that, Ole Rapid would snatch the cake and run away with it and devour it.

And that's the truth, CakeBoy!!!!!!

Well, being an optimist, I have to ask, Randy, what is your side of the story? Go ahead and wipe the frosting from your mouth and fingers before you type away.

LOL

tee hee, this should be good for all of us, eh?

Nancy, Keep in mind that while Ole Rapid is, for the most part, a fine upstanding young fellow, such is not always the case. Especially when it comes to birthdays and cake!!!!!!

Geez,,,I can't leave you kids alone for a minute can I????

After reading all this, I was very suprised to see a lot of the truth hidden in the posts from these Hooligans. Although, as you can see, they didn't let the "Truth" get in the way of a good story!!

Rocky is pretty close to right,,,even though I hate to let him know that. :D Someone did post a late Happy birthday,,so I said it was fine and they were really late as I decided to celebrate my birthday "Week" that year. It probably would have died out,,,but someone else did it again, so I decided I was having such a good b/day, I would have a Birthday "Month"!!

That started it, and all my friends have been wishing me Happy B/day once or twice a week ever since!! The cake deal just naturally grew out of that,,,heck everyone knows you can't have a b/day without cake!

I believe in a fit of "Sugar High" I may have smoked Rocky's cake,,,but I didn't inhale!!

I believe it was one of these Hooligans who moved the B/day---and cake deal to another board,,,then it just kept spreading. Now I am the official cake taste tester,,,,and I have the CSI hat to prove it, given to me at Cordova last year!!! {Cake Science Institue} :D
