:wink: 500mm lens and you can set clean across the shop and photo it. Learning is half of the fun of this sport even if you never do it yourself you have gained knowledge to understand what, why or whatfor. 8) 8)


Went to get the cow and she must be on vacation or she has caller ID and won't talk to me? Is there a cow's union or does she just think she is of the udder class?

Stuff like this really not about the money. I mean, I would like to spend that 250 elsewhere on the car but...

For me, it's really about gaining the satasfaction of doing it myself. I like to work on the old car.

Like i said though, this is a pretty important piece of the puzzle so she'll go off to the shop. :oops:

:D yep i have been all over Don about loosing the power windows,,take the dang impact aborsbing bumpers off front and rear, get the belt driven stock water pump clutchfan off of the car.. move the big battery off the left front to the right rear where it belongs, thake the gloves out of the glove box :roll: etc... maybe run a nice 12.20 on a cool spring night..

:D yep i have been all over Don about loosing the power windows,,take the dang impact aborsbing bumpers off front and rear, get the belt driven stock water pump clutchfan off of the car.. move the big battery off the left front to the right rear where it belongs, thake the gloves out of the glove box :roll: etc... maybe run a nice 12.20 on a cool spring night..
I'll tell ya what man, I think that is cool as hell that you guys have that car running 12's...

I am thinking about heading over to Doug Herbert's shop tomorrow on my way ome and picking up a cheapie converter.

Oh yeah, and an ALUMINUM tranny pan.
I bought a cheap, chrome stamped steel pan from summit and it WILL NOT seal up. Grrrrrrrrrr.... I am gonna take out back and use it for target practice!! :evil:

8) Doug there is not a trick name brand piece on the car we race..we tow to the track on a wore out farm implement trailer, a $ 20 pit shelter from walmart, an air tank with 120psi.. in it.. a couple flashlights, water jugs, fuel,, a spare HEI dist. that's about it unless you are talking about the cooler.... :shock:

yep !! that's how it works.... plastic bottled water untill the car is loaded on the trailer win or loose.. then Miller lite plastic bottles start to flow like a thunderstorm through a ranch home downspout !! :lol:

Yup, it's with or without a race car. There is a Draglist contingent (me included) that's not quite ready to race yet. (A conveyance of some sort will be needed to get to the track). :lol: :lol: It's gonna' be fun..... :arrow:
