well I just have woken up from a 2 day slumber ... ( that motel bed kept me up the first night and Ren fought with me for the bed the second ) and all the activities kept me awake while we where there . It was great to Meet WC in person ( finally no problems !!) and watching Old school Nitro cars run was great ! sorry if I am not much of a talker on line andwasn't all there during the Nats . But I still had a great time I can't wait till next year.

<<<<< and Randy this is what my car looks like , "if lippys car rearended my car" ,

Jer, I hope to see you and Cheryl out there next time! You, me and Billy are a few of the DragList old-timers and our geezership was founded in years of lore. We made a bond back then that will stand forever. Heck, it's just life, which happens as the years click by. We'll make it to DLNs 5.0 with flying colors!

Great news about the motel switch next time. Yeah, we've stayed in worse places for sure, but that place...ahem...stood out special...the bottom line there was pretty far down from some of the other bottom lines I've been at in my post-hippie daze. It didn't make the weekend any less enjoyable, though...if nothing else, it provided us with some colorful conversation about a common experience we were all apparently sharing there.

Gonna look up a windshield repair guy for George. Actually, the bobo on his forehead kind of adds character, but he needs it fixed. The pictures of George came out great! Thanks, I sent some to my friends here and they loved 'em...Cheers, WC1

Zappy my eyes still haven't healed from viewing your electtric blue suit, that was too cool. All you people sure had a good time. :D
Wheelz, last year I had the "FIRE SUIT". (the orange flame out-fit).

With the Nitro Nups this year, I figured I should go formal, hence the "FIRE TUX", ( note the tux stripe down the slacks)

I'm sure soon as Leno, or Letterman's people see it, we'll be invited on to talk about it.

And YES you just have to be there for DLN 5.0 You got 1 year notice sir.

That was a COOL set of threads, Zappy. You are an extreme man of good taste. I can't wait to see what you come up with next time!

I forgot to mention that I met Eric David Bru and chatted with him at Eddyville. I mentioned to him that I heard he had some trouble with his car and he gave me the lowdown on the whole deal. He'll be back racing soon but it was one of those interconnected problems that led from one thing to another so he's going to do some major changes but he knows exactly what it is and how to fix it. He's a great guy. His daughter Tiffany was also very nice.

Cheers, WC1
