Bob,
Very interesting read.I think this thread could be a required reading course for all new teams.The trick is to work thru these glitches and add the experience to the data file.Sounds like you guys are doing a great job there.

On the positive side....you now have the start of a low buck tire inflator,comp.tester or emergency compressor for the tow vehicle via the plug blow-out :wink:

OK on the plug deal.... was curious if it was a late model ford as we have seen them blow out the plug taking all of the threads out of the head with it a couple times on the plumbing van(s)... jeeez

Well you guys & gals are going to have to wait till next weekend to find out whether getting this thing down the track kills me or not :P :wink: :lol:
Parts will not show up in time and I forgot :oops: I have friends coming to town for a visit this weekend.
Tune into your favorite bat channel on June 2nd or 3rd for my next tantalizing tale.
Oh by the way my starter problems may be cured. If I can round up all the pieces from a buddy of mine I'll be using a real race car starter, an RCD starter. Take that CSR starters. :lol:
