Bob,
Very interesting read.I think this thread could be a required reading course for all new teams.The trick is to work thru these glitches and add the experience to the data file.Sounds like you guys are doing a great job there.
On the positive side....you now have the start of a low buck tire inflator,comp.tester or emergency compressor for the tow vehicle via the plug blow-out

OK on the plug deal.... was curious if it was a late model ford as we have seen them blow out the plug taking all of the threads out of the head with it a couple times on the plumbing van(s)... jeeez

Well you guys & gals are going to have to wait till next weekend to find out whether getting this thing down the track kills me or not
Parts will not show up in time and I forgot

I have friends coming to town for a visit this weekend.
Tune into your favorite bat channel on June 2nd or 3rd for my next tantalizing tale.
Oh by the way my starter problems may be cured. If I can round up all the pieces from a buddy of mine I'll be using a real race car starter, an RCD starter. Take that CSR starters.
