Hiya, boys and girls......sawwy I ain't been around here too much the past few weeks.....but I have been busier than a one legged man in a butt kickin' contest, workin' on several different projects, including the MOST important one (to "ME", anyway).....my ol' nag, the Iron Pegasus.

"IF" we had had a drive shaft in place yesterday (it is "supposed" to be delivered today)....we would have put down some tire marks on the concrete where Tim parks his motorhome. We had to settle for just rappin the loud pedal a few times and grinning at each other like Cheshire cats....Tim looked over at me and said "you ain't gonna be able to handle all THIS power".....then....we rolled it back into his front shop and set the body back on the chassis, so we can check bodylines, etc., and then take the body Back off to do the bodywork and paint OFF the chassis......

Just a little while ago, I got a bunch of stuff ordered (that "should" be here later this week)....new gauges (my old gauges don't match with my tach, and I have come too far to go half steppin in the "looks" department)...a purge kit for the nitrous system (still undicided at this time whether I'm going with a plate or a fogger system, but am truely leaning towards the fogger due to its increased cylinder to cylinder tuning capabilities....besides....we got the intake drilled and tapped for that a couple of weeks ago)....plus a brand new vacumme pump kit is on the way as well.......

I am "cautiously" optomistic about being able to attend the DLN's....but at this time, I'm not making any promises......I feel like the car will be ready but not sure of the logistics of getting Me, the Car / Trailer and all there, because I KNOW there is no way in Hades that "Clyde" is going to make that trip....well....not without a whole LOT of work (read expense) to get the ol' Box-a-bolts road worthy.......more later......Sheesh, I MISS yakkin with yoose guys!!!!!!!
